I’m trying to get to the Longwood Medical area from West Newton. If anyone has a better suggestion than the D-line of the Green line, I’d love to hear it. I’m mostly interested in amount of time the ride generally takes from Woodland to Longwood. Thanks.

I live in Leominster and if I wanted to go to Worcester I would have to take the train from here to North Station, then the subway to South Station, and then another commuter rail to Worcester. It would probably take me like 5 hours! LOL!

I am considering taking the train to Boston for the game but I don’t want to be stuck there or miss parts of the game waiting for the train. Is there going to be later subway and commuter rail trains due to the game?
Going to the game isn’t the issue. What about the return trip?

I’m driving from NYC to Boston next week and am looking for a spot outside of the city to park for 5 days. I was thinking of parking in the lot at the Framingham commuter station, and taking the train into downtown Boston. Is this a good idea? Do they allow overnight parking? Is there a better parking spot near the Mass pike? Thanks for your help.
