I’m not too sure of this story but as far as I know this guy gave out information of a spy to the press and put the spy’s life in danger or something. Not living in America I don’t really know that much about the story but do you think Libby should have got life in prison or at least a stiff sentence? Do you think Bush is helping out his friends by keeping them out of jail?
Silkstockings I would be asking the same questions if a democrat was in office or not

Was commuting Libby’s sentence in the interests of the country?

Is this another case of Republicans getting back at the American people for prosecuting them for unconstitutional activities during Watergate? Embarassing Joe McCarthy? Criticizing Kissinger for sponsoring death squads in Chile, Argentina and Brazil? Republicans getting made at Americans for not understanding why they trained Bin Laden in the 80s to murder us on 9/11?

Its the president’s prerogative. Bill Clinton pardoned over 450 people, including dangerous felons.

Tom K:

So you were equally as troubled by President Clinton pardoning dangerous drug dealers, fugitives, etc right?

Pardon me If I don’t take your selective outrage seriously.

by implementing a four 10 hour day workweek and support more working from home? on a national scale this could make a difference. Most companies could do it without a lot of difficulty and with $ incentives-and retail and restaurant and related businesses should offer longer shifts and fewer days instead of all those folks that are scheduled 6 days a week, 4 to 5 hours per day. What do you think?
