Ideally I want a cool race bike but I also need to be practical. I live in Scotland where it rains a lot and I need mudguards to stop be getting messed up on rainy days. But mudguards look really nasty on racer bikes! Any suggestions on what I should opt for????

I’d like to ride my bike to work, but my building doesn’t have shower or change facilities and I have to dress professionally. I am wonderong how I can bike to work, get dressed and not look rumpled or like I need another shower. It’s about 6 miles to work from my home.

My last bike was a Huffy when I was pre-teen so you can understand how new I am to riding. There isn’t a bike rack on my car, so I’ll need to find a place close enough to have it professionally fit and then I can ride it home. Supposedly there are some great bike shops in the area, but I haven’t been able to locate one that deals Specialized and close enough for a beginner rider. Any suggestions?

I had my first run in today with a crazy driver who honked his horn at me and then screamed out his window to get on the sidewalk. I was on the side of the road as far as i could be and he still did it. I don’t know if he has have road a bike but riding an the side walks is difficult because of the slow people who refuse to step to the side. How do you guys deal with **** head drivers like this guy?
