Does anyone take the metrolink train from Santa Clarita Metrolink Station to LA downtown (Union Station) during rush hours? How is the bus network in downtown good from union station to various office buildings or nearby streets? Any help will be appreciated.

I am considering a move to the Los Angeles area, and Newport Beach seems to appeal to my taste, I just worry about the commute time in to downtown L.A., or West Hollywood everyday, and if it would be feasible.
