How much gas $ do you think it would be to travel 27 miles + 27 back, per day (commuting) In Southern Ca?

Is it enough to equal rent $ to live closer to your destination to begin with , or is it insignificant? (27 miles there and 27 back, so about 50 mile round trip, and 4 days per week)

What do you **** most about commuting to work?

My Big Bear Ron asked:

For me, well, you know that lady dressed in the uniform who stops traffic so the kids can cross the street? I **** that!!! I mean the light is GREEN for me, and she’s got the kids crossing on a RED light. Also, she waits on the slow poke kids who’ve not yet reached the street to cross. She does this and more when there is a line of cars full of drivers wanting to get to work, for crying out loud!!!
