I’m employed as a consultant, and my employer places me at different companies where I consult. Does my commute, which is a daily commute to this workplace, count as deductible expense given that it is at a location other than my employer’s offices? FWIW, I have never even visited my employer’s office, and since joining my employer, all my travel has been to this one workplace.
